I spend time with my family; contacting and connecting with them to hear about the events of their days. (Often leading to me providing them a reading.) LOL Additionally, I spend a lot of time listening to my friends and providing advice because I am very empathetic. I used to wonder why have I gone through so much in this short life, and I've come to the conclusion that in order to help others, empathy often comes from my experiences. A lot of time seems to be spent on self reflection.

Most definitely, yes. I am very emotional. I connect well with others by using compassion. I feel very deeply because of this. Additionally, I tend to be overprotective. A strong quality within myself. Because I am compassionate, I don't judge. I also never share anyone else's secrets with other people. I honor people's privacy. I understand what I tell you is for guidance. As I've always said, Truth and Honesty shall set you free, but you must lead your destiny! Nothing is too big, or too small to overcome, and unless you are repetitively doing the same act with bad results, you haven't done anything wrong. This means that life is a learning lesson and with this lesson you become a brighter star in the universe. More intelligent than you were before you had the undesired outcome. So basically, as a Cancer sign, I will always be empathetic to your situation and will protect you by helping you make more informed decisions.

Forty-two years ago, my foster mom came downstairs with a tarot deck and told me I should practice because she knows people in my family have this ability. I was confused back then as I didn't understand that my foster mom was actually a close family member. (I'll tell you more about this in a blog post.) Anyway, for the next 11 years I tinkered around with friends and family, but didn't do this as a career. Now I've been helping people on a professional level for the last 31 years. I have an immense background in this, and family lineage that also did this. I've been very helpful with those in need of my skills.

Don't be afraid!!!! I say this because you don't know how many times I've heard people say they are afraid to get a reading because either they are afraid of the outcome, or they are afraid of some bad situation I'm going to reveal. It's not like that. First of all, it's important to understand that a tarot reading is not something that is set in stone. A tarot reading is designed to help you to handle the situations that surround you. To find out where things are headed, and to maybe overt the outcome to something hopefully more desirable. I should also note that there is good and bad in every situation. I think 99.99% of all my readings have had bad and have also had good. It's good to note what all the details of the situation are so you can make the best decision for yourself. Because if there's one thing I know, you have to have your own back first and foremost. If you settle for less, you will get less; that's almost always the way it works. Of course, no two situations are exactly alike, so I can't say 100% of the time things are going to be a specific way. Another thing: when you ask a question, and you get an answer, you can't ask that same question immediately following in a different way to try and get a different result. The answer if you did this, is yes you would get a different answer, but it wouldn't be reliable. I do readings for close to now because I believe that you should get through now to handle the future. So yes, we can look into the far picture of things, but you should know that I do readings for closer to now. What this means is I can help you daily to get to your goal, which I think is more beneficial. It also means that life is ever changing, so it doesn't mean the first answer has to be written in stone. Once we have something, our actions nurture things to go one way or the other. Every action is like unfolding magic.

When I was pregnant with my sixth child, I was informed I had to stop working. During this time, I was sitting at home, bored, and people would stop by and ask if I could give them a reading. So, what we decided was good to do, because I live in a very small, very poor community, was for me to do barter readings. This worked out pretty well. I received everything from birchbark to pies; you name it, I practically received it. This went on during the pregnancy. Then I gave birth to my daughter, and when I came home, I realized that all my pies and pieces of bark were not going to pay the bills and my husband wasn't able to make ends come together. So, I decided two days after she was born that I had to start making some money to help out with this situation. I went online and opened an account on a tarot site that has since closed. (Kind of shocking as I had a very good business that started up immediately and never stopped.) Anyway, I made a deal with myself. If I made any money on the first day, in a place as big as this world wide web, then it must be my calling to help others through Tarot, and I would stick to it. I made $80 the first day! I've been doing this ever since. I figure I must be doing something right because life always comes back to this as my career. I have in some instances, thought I should try working outside the home, but this has been my true stability and where I find the most meaning: helping others!

I believe tarot is more than cards—it’s a spiritual tool for clarity and empowerment. My strongest gift is intuition, which allows me to see beyond the surface and uncover the deeper meaning behind your questions. My purpose is to shine a light on possibilities, encourage growth, and give you the confidence to move forward.

When I give a tarot reading, the cards themselves are my primary tool. Each deck is rich with symbolism, archetypes, and imagery that help me uncover the deeper meaning behind your questions. I believe that creating a sacred space is just as important as the cards themselves. Simple rituals—like setting intentions, lighting a candle, or centering my energy—help me connect more deeply with the wisdom of the tarot. Together, these tools allow me to offer readings that are not only insightful but also empowering, giving you the confidence to move forward with clarity and purpose.

Okay, the first part of this experience was a life lesson for me as a tarot reader. I was so angry at myself, and I vowed to never do this again, and I have stuck to it. There was this woman. She was so sweet. I could tell by her voice how bad she wanted this event to happen, but the message said the opposite. I could sense the pain I was feeling from her at that moment if I told her what I was seeing. So, I lied. I told her what she wanted, and she left so happy, but three days later, she was back. She was angered immensely by the fact it was exactly as my message said. I lied to her, and what I did was set her heart up happy to be set down by telling her what she wanted to hear. I was going to stop doing readings anymore, but I had come so far, I thought, 'May as well keep going. Everyone will probably stop coming to me now.' I even went on my blog and wrote about how I was so sorry I did that. I hurt someone worse than they needed to be because I wasn't being a good tarot reader and saying what I see. So, I come across this other person who needs a reading. She was the first one after this incident and I felt so strong inside I was going to tell the exact truth. Well, this exact truth was another very horrible answer to have to give, but I did it anyway. She told me she had been to many readers, and none of them said anything like what I said. That she wanted her money back. I said I was sorry and ended my day of work. I didn't work for three days, and once again, decided I can't give up. Finally, I go into my work area and there she is: the last person I gave a reading to. She had written me an e-mail. When I read it, she said she wished she could take back the nasty review of me because I was right. She said she started to see the things happening that I was telling her about, and then it happened. So it was then at that point, we started getting together regularly for me to help guide her through her decisions. This went on for four years, and then one day, she says, "Well heck, I think you answered all of my questions again, so how about this? Tell me whatever you see." Well, the message was weird. When I was done with it, she cracked up and I cracked up, because both of us were sure that was a down and out stupid message. It seemed that her ex from all of them years ago was going to show up at her door and at this event will ask her to marry him. She hadn't seen him since he left for the other woman. I was like, well, you know my rule, I have to say what the message is. It's not up to me to change it because of how I feel it must not be right. What happened is my most memorable psychic experience, but I actually have many. I wasn't working for that weekend, so when I logged on Monday morning, she was right there waiting to tell me what happened. She said I wasn't going to believe it, but he did show up, and he DID ask her to marry him! I was pretty shocked by this! So was she! Now I'm not going to say that this means everything turned out good, but I do want to make note of the fact this happened to me. I think of this from time to time when I think about myself as a tarot reader.

Well, here’s the deal: I don’t think of it as suddenly “discovering” a gift one day. For me, it’s always been about being a messenger. My messages often come to me in daily life without even using cards. In that sense, I don’t call it a gift—I call it understanding people, their energy, and even their body language. The tarot cards are simply another tool I use to reveal a message, and sometimes that message is one that only you truly know the meaning of. Because of my experiences, I can often recognize what the message means right alongside you. I think I do well because I don’t take credit away from the universe—I see myself as a channel, not the source. People call me gifted all the time, but I’ve always felt there’s room for growth. I’m evolving just like you are, just on different levels, and I believe we all learn from one another in ways that help me serve others better. So, if I had to answer directly, I’d say my greatest gift isn’t something I “discovered” at a single moment—it’s something I’ve grown into overtime. It’s the ability to share my intuition with the messages that come through, and to walk with you as we sail through situations together. That’s what makes this work meaningful for me.
